In 2001, David Gardner released a book called "The Last of the Hitlers", where he recounts his search for Hitler's living relatives in the male line (those that would keep the surname "Hitler" through marriage). Although Adolf Hitler had no children, Gardner traced Hitler's nephew William Patrick Hitler, son of Alois Hitler Jr, Adolf's half-brother. William was born and raised in England, moved to Germany for a short time, later fled and wrote a book criticizing his uncle, and finally moved to the US. He joined the US Navy during World War II. After the war, his family sought anonymity. William Patrick Hitler is one of the better known relatives of Adolf Hitler because he wrote and lectured about his uncle, and was widely reported by the media. After World War II, William and his family desired anonymity, which Gardner respected in his book by not releasing their assumed surname. William died in 1987, but he has three living sons that are native born Americans (a fourth son died in the late 1980s). It was initially suggested that the brothers made a pact never to marry or have children, in order to put an end to Hitler's male line, but one of the brothers claimed that he knew of no such pact.
On the female line, there appear to be living descendants of Hitler's half-sister Angela, who married Leo Raubal Sr. and had three children, two of which appear to have survived World War II (Angela later remarried to Martin Hammitzsch, though I can't determine if they had children).
Adolf Hitler only had one full sibling that survived into adulthood, Paula Hitler. She never married or had children, and died in 1960.
Yes, the most famous ones are his four nephews from Long Island, two of them are alive today. His four nephews are William Patrick Hitler(b. 1911 d. 1987), Louis(d. 1951), Howard Ronald(b. 1957, d. 1989) and Brian William(b. 1965).
Yes, he does have living relatives. I remember watching a show on history channel. I think three men who live in America are part of his descendents. There might be more.
P.S.: Their ast names aren't Hitler, so if you look for them, you won't find them with the last name "Hitler".
No, Hitler never had any offspring. Paula Hitler, the last living member of Adolf Hitler's immediate family, died in 1960. The most prominent and longest-living closest relative was Adolf Hitler's nephew, William Patrick Hitler, the son of Adolf's half-brother, Alois Hitler Jr.
Over the years, various investigative reporters have attempted to track down other living relatives of Hitler. Many are presumed to be living inconspicuous lives and have changed their last name.
By a half-brother,Adolph had a nephew named William Patrick Hitler. William Patrick changed his last name made it to the US where he attempted to enlist during WWII. He has living offspring.
There are allegations that Hitler himself had sons by a known woman. If it can be proven that they are Hitler's sons it is possible that they can collect royalties on Hitler's book Mein Kampf. See article and family tree below.
