Yes, there are rivers, lakes and ponds. A famous river is the Mississippi and a famous lake is Superior. There are also inlets, seas, oceans, and creeks. All these are called bodies of water.

Looking in Google Earth, I see a number of rivers. I do not see any natural lakes, but there are several reservoirs, artificial lakes created by damming the rivers.
