On most cars with hydraulic power steering the pump is driven by a drive belt or by a serpentine belt. Follow the belt and it will go to the pump. The resivoir is located on top or near the pump.
Cars that have power steering will have a PS pump run by one of the fan belts. The pump will always have a cap on it where PS fluid is added.
Your cars power steering pump has to warm up for a little while to stop it.
