Not as far as anyone knows, and it's really very unlikely.

Traveling at the speed of light ... which is impossible for people ... it would take millions of

years ... which is longer than people have existed ... to reach the Andromeda Galaxy. So

it's probably a safe bet that earth people have never been there.

How far away is earth from the Andromeda galaxy in kilometers in scientific notation?

The Great Galaxy in Andromeda (also known as the Andromeda Galaxy or M31) is about 2.5 million light years from Earth. When we look at this galaxy today, we see light that has been traveling through space for 2.5 million years; i.e. when we look at the Andromeda Galaxy, we are seeing it as it was about 2.5 million years ago! Think about this, we are looking back in time.1 light year is the distance that light travels in 1 year. Speed of light is 300,000 kilometers/second, find the distance that light travels from the Andromeda Galaxy to Earth in kilometers and express it in scientific notation.

What planet is in Andromeda galaxy?

There have not been counted yet.

Will earth be destroyed when the Andromeda galaxy collides with the milky way galaxy?

The collision of Andromeda with the Milky Way is not expected for many billions of years, by which time the Earth will have already been destroyed by the expansion of the sun into a red giant.

Are there planets in the Andromeda Galaxy?

It is extremely likely, but we cannot yet find planets from that far away. All the planets we have found to date are in our own galaxy. The Andromeda galaxy is 2.5 million light years away whereas our galaxy is about 100,000 light years across.

The distance to the Andromeda Galaxy has been measured by several methods and is about 2.4 million light years When we look at the Andromeda Galaxy how long ago was the galaxy in the form that we are?

Since the Andromeda Galaxy is about 2.4 million light years away, when we observe it, we are seeing it as it was 2.4 million years ago. This is because the light we see from the galaxy today has taken approximately 2.4 million years to travel from the galaxy to Earth.

How many planets are in the Andromeda galaxy?

Astronomer's have not been able to count all the planets in the Andromeda Galaxy. The Andromeda Galaxy is home to one-trillion stars. The Andromeda Galaxy is expected to collide with the Milky Way in the next 4.5-billion years.

Has any one been to the Andromeda galaxy?

No. The furthest "man" has gone is the moon.

What did the Andromeda galaxy do?

Nothing as far as I know. It is still the same as it has been for years

Which galaxy is one of the brightest and most accessible to observers?

The Milky Way galaxy is the brightest and most visible to to the naked eye Andromeda, which can been seen with the naked eye, and is 2.2 million light years from earth.

What are the planets of Andromeda?

Because the Andromeda galaxy is so distant it is significantly difficult to identify planets in it - although there are likely hundreds of billions. Using a technique called gravitational microlensing, one planetary candidate within Andromeda has been announced by a team of scientists; the exoplanet is a stellar companion and thought to have about six or seven times the mass of Jupiter.

How long has the Andromeda galaxy been alive?

Never - its not alive. But it has existed for many billions of years, almost 13.

Two blond was sitting by a bakery and a bank the first ask what is bigger the galaxy or the earth the second day I don't know I hadn't been there before explain joke?

The joke in which a blond says she does not know which is bigger, the Earth or the galaxy, because she has not been to the galaxy is a mockery of blond people. The Earth is in the galaxy, so she has been to the galaxy. The joke implies that she isn't smart enough to realize that she is in the galaxy.
