Tally Youngblood thinks for herself and doesn't go by what her city tells her to do. hm... i was looking at this... and her friend peris in Uglies also did the pranks she did...she only did one other...sneaking into New Pretty Town, but Shay also did that, along with going to the Smoke, so not reaaly. in Pretties, she snuck away and cured herself, but zane was with her, so again, not reaaly. Good try, i sure dont know. but i dont think that was the answer. atleast they tried...give em credit

well, its really complicated, but the short version: its about a city in the future where people get a operation when they're 16 that make them really beautiful. these are the pretties, and the uglies are people who haven't gotten the operation yet. in the story there's a girl named Tally Youngblood (she's the main character) and she mets Shane, and they become best friends. but Shane runs away because she doesn't want to get the operation. then the 'specials' come and tell Tally that she can't get the operation until she tells them where Shane is. so she go to find Shane. i won't tell you any more, and i know that that wasn't really short, but you have you know that much.
