Some words without a vowel or a 'y' are:

brr, cwms (pronounced cooms), hmm. nth, pht, shh, tsk.

There are also many words with only a 'y', which technically is not a vowel.

Rhythm, pry, fry, try, sky, why, gym, crypt, tryst, gypsy, cyst, lymph and many more.

No. Both y and w are vowels in some words.

Yes, try, fry, cry, pry for Eg.

Also the word Syzygy which means any coordination or alignment especially in the astronomical sense

and Twyndyllyng, which means a twinling or twins.

Actually, y is not a vowel in the English world, as we think so rhythm is the longest word without a vowel.

How do you pronounce modern Hebrew without vowels?

I think what you mean is, "how do you read Modern Hebrew without vowels". (You can't pronounce any words without vowels).Hebrew is a consonant-based language, just like all Semitic languages. The words are fairly easy to read without vowels, because there are only a limited number of patterns that form words. When a Hebrew reader sees a word in context, they mentally supply the vowels without even realizing it.It can be done in English too, though not as easily, since English is not a consonant-based language. For example:Rchrd cn rd Hbrw wtht vwls.
