That depends on the country, year, and denomination of the coin. Something like Italian Lire from the 1980s isn't worth anything because the coins contain no precious metals and the currency has been demonitized. Meanwhile, something like British shillings from the 1920s, while also demonitized, contain silver and have some value.
Please post a new question with much more detail. The coins' dates, denominations, and countries of origin are needed before any attempt can be made to estimate any values.
Yes.
no
Nothing. You can't exchange foreign coins in Norway -only bills.
Foreign coins usually cannot be used in other countries. You can cash in foreign coins, but you usually only get a fraction of the value when you do.
The yellow coins are worth 1, the red coins are worth 2, and the blue coins are worth 3.
If you mean a Sacagawea or Presidential dollar, it has no gold and is worth $1.00. The U.S. has not used any gold coins for circulation since 1933.
The US Mint did not issue any silver coins of any kind in 1980. If you have silver coins dated 1980, they are not US coins.
i collect old and foreign coins oooh, that's cool. Does anyone else have any ideas?
yes

Nope. They are worth the same as any other coin. They were made in the millions and are not rare.
