Yes! The campground at Portola Redwoods State Park is open to bicycles. Lots of families bring bikes so their kids can ride on the paths and roads in safety. Also, adult cyclists often use the park as a destination - and there is a special camping area set aside for long distance cyclists.
the people who did the jobs on Santa Clara were the Indians, missionaries, explorers and other people that fallowed Gaspar De Portola and Junipero Serra.
The address of the Live Oak Branch Library is: 2380 Portola Dr., Santa Cruz, 95062 4203
It was formed because Vizcaino discovered it but left. Then Father Serra and Portola was building missions and made a mission in Santa Barbara. Today it is still famous because of the mission.
Check out the USC site on Portola's Expedition (you will have to pay for a map but it's the best I've seen so far). I am researching him due to my close proximity to where him and Father Serra rested in Ventura next to the Santa Clara River. Interestingly both Portola along with Serra are not Spaniards, they are Catalan men. Father Serra is from Petra, Mallorca (Balearic Islands) where they speak a dialect of Catalan. Portola is from the province of Lerida or Llieda and also has connections to the Araneses (Gascon) of the Vall De Aran, Catalunya.

There are many accommodations found in Santa Fe. One can stay in a luxurious resort, a hotel with much Sante Fe history,a bed and breakfast or even at a campground or one of the RV parks. Depending on how much you are looking to spend will determine which accommodation works each individual or family .
