Are there cools facts about homework?

These facts are from a study by NAEP (National Assessment of Educational Progress) from 1984 to 2012. Kids were asked "How long did it take to do your homework yesterday?"

• Only about 4% of kids under 13 say they didn't do their homework; that number increases after kids become teens, with around 11% of teenagers not doing any homework
  
• Between 18-35% of all students said they didn't have homework that day
• 40-60% of 9 year olds say they finish their homework in under an hour
• 13 year olds are slightly more likely (56-44%) to finish in under an hour, but 21-29% say they take 1-2 hours to finish
• Teens 17-18 take longer to do their homework: 26-29% say they can finish in under an hour, but 22-27% say they need 1-2 hours; 10-13% say it takes over 2 hours for homework
• 5-10% of kids under 13 say homework takes over 2 hours to finish
• The amount of homework assigned has increased since 1984, but not by as much as people think: in 1984, 22-35% of kids had no homework, while 21-27% reported no homework in 2012
