well not really because fish cant do that but yes only for a little bit
To clean out the water and make the fish feel more free and open
yes. they are nice, small, keep the water clean. but not big enough for most fish.
Filters keep the water clean for the fish, kind of like we need clean air to breath properly. Also, filters keep the tank clean by (yep you guessed it) filtering the water. I hope this helped^^
Cipangopaludina chinensis, a cold water snail. Is perfect for cold water tanks. They also reproduce at a slow rate. (one offspring at a time)
You can put some but not all cold water fish in tropical tanks for example you can put zebra danios and mountain minnows with tropical if you gradually increase the heat. You cannot do this with goldfish. It depends what fish you have.
I assume by a regular tank, you mean one which contains freshwater fish, such as a goldfish tank. A reef tank consists of a mixed marine environment, containing a mixture of reef fish, corals, invertebrates, and other organisms. With respect to freshwater tanks, there are several types. Ciclid tanks, planted tanks, tropical tanks, and cold-water tanks could all be considered distinct types. Marine tanks come in just as many varieties also. There are cold-water varieties, reef tanks, FOWLR (Fish Only With LiveRock), lagoon tanks, and many others. Hope this helps.
One can buy used fish tanks on AquaBid. On there, you can buy or sell used fish aquariums. Many tanks on there are cheap and afforadable, but make sure you clean it.
