Lots of hot water it helps with muscle spasms also lots of liquids stay hydrated Gatorade works good also try Tylenol for the pain any kind of sleeping pills or alcohol makes withdrawls worse also lots of tums .If you make it 7 days your over the worst of it GOOD LUCK !! Also prayer helps alot.

∙ 12y agoYou can eat bananas for the restless leg syndrome, it really works. the potassium in the bananas help you to feel calm especially if your trying to sleep. Valium or any other benzodiazepene is good for withdrawals. just make sure that your certain that the methadone is fully out of your system before you take any benzos. valim also makes you feel calm and a little bit drowsy espacially the first time you take it. hope this helped. good luck!

∙ 13y agoTher is really no way to stop methadone withdraws from happening if u quit cold turkey but it u taper ur dose gradually there are still lite withdraws but its bareable, im on 120 mgs and have tried for 5 yrs

Take the xanax away... I take it she is coming off heroin or an opiate since she is on methadone. When you take a benzo with methadone it creates a heroin like effect, and can cause black outs.
