Yes. Codeine and hydrocodone (Vicodin) are frequently used as a cough suppresent. Sometimes in pill form and other times in elixer (liquid form). I'm not sure about percocet(oxycodone). Check with your pharmacist. And Doctors use a opiate methadone to get people off heroin Morphine and Opium powders are used as antidiarrheals, but you need to be near death to get a doctor to give them to you
Yes. There is no codeine in percocet.
No, Percocet contains oxycodone and acetaminophen (Tylenol). Oxycodone is much stronger than codeine.
Straight up no. For Example ff you were to take 30mg of codeine and 30mg of Percocet, the Percocet(oxycodone) is much stronger.
No. It contains oxycodone instead, and that is a stronger narcotic. Tylenol III with codeine is the combination drug that contains codeine.No. The opiate in percocet is oxycodone.
No. Percocet contains oxycodone, an opiate (like codeine), but more potent.
No it will not show up as percocet
No, it contains oxycodone, a semi-synthetic derivate from codeine (but NOT codeine). It also contains acetaminophen.
sure. why not! what you taking the codeine for if you already took a percocet?
NO..percocet contains oxycodone/Tylenol(acetaminophen) and codeine/Tylenol is a weaker pain medication. They are both opiates..... Codeine is used to treat mild to moderate pain and is also a very good cough medicine...
No Darvocet (acetaminophen and propoxyphene) does not contain codeine. Darvocet is not known as percocet, (percocet is oxycodone) and is also a 1/4 of the strength of codeine. It is also more closely related to Demerol then codeine. It would take 2 darvocet 100 to even match the strength of one hydrocodone.
No, oxycodone does not have codeine in it. This drug is in Percocet (and others), which is a bit stronger than codeine. I don't know what prescription you (may) have, but often, the Percocet will also have aspirin or acetominophen (Tylenol) in it as well. This is called a "compound" drug because it has two different medications in it.
no, codeine is an opiate, derived from the opium plant. it is similar to percocet. opiates have the oposite effect of cocaine.
Codeine is a pain killer. It's often prescribed with tylenol.
Its only prescribed by doctors.
yes, but if it is prescribed and used as prescribed, it is not illegal
I believe you mean "Oxycodone" which is the generic name for Percocet or Tylox. My doctors know I am allergic to codeine; but subscribe Oxycodone, which has codeine, but so does percocet. I am waiting for pharmacist to call me know to let me know if it has the same amount. Percocet does not bother my stomach but Oxycodone does.
Prescribed by a Physician
I have been prescribed codeine and benadryl simultaneously. It may slightly reduce the effectiveness of the codeine, but that's all.
It depends on what codeine was was prescribed for. It is most often prescribed for cough or pain. In ether case there are many over the counter meds for these ailments.
No. It doesn't have any opiates in it, like codeine.
Roxicet is a form of Oxycodone. (percocet)
Yes, doctors and healthcare professionals often times prescribe Oxycodone (Percocet) to patients who are allergic to Codeine/Hydrocodone.
no, hydrocodone and loratab has the same compounds as codiene but a couple times stronger. they both carry some of the same ingredients. People who are allergic to hydrocodone are usually prescribed oxycodone (percocet) or hydromorphone.
