2 Peter 3:15-16

"Furthermore, consider the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul according to the wisdom given him also wrote YOU, speaking about these things as he does also in all [his] letters. In them, however, are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unsteady are twisting, as [they do] also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction." -New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures

Proverbs 14:15

"Anyone inexperienced puts faith in every word, but the shrewd one considers his steps." -New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures

Be very careful when researching whether there may be missing books in The Bible. In short, no there are no missing books. Why would God let us go without all of the information we need to survive these harsh times? If you are determined to look into these 'additions' to the Bible, be sure to realize what the two above scriptures mean. Jumping in and agreeing with something before you thoroughly examine it is what an 'inexperienced' person would do, and the dangers are out there as 2 Peter brings out. People do twist the scriptures. Be safe and safeguard your mind and heart before you delve into such things, or better yet just stick to the actual Bible and not the earthly 'additions'.

Are there 77 books missing out of the bible?

No, there could not be 77 missing books out of the Bible. Why not? Because the Bible says at 2 Tim. 3:16 that ALL scripture is inspired of God and beneficial. If God had wanted additional books put into the Bible; being the Almighty he could have done that, in fact he would have done that. But, he didn't. Wouldn't he have the power to do so if he wanted to? Of course he could have but the Bible cannon is complete with its 66 books. Please look at these other scriptures : Revelation 22:18,19. Is the word of GOD complete or incomplete?

This has always been very troubling to me, even as I was growing up and studying the Bible. There are very many lost, missing, banned and excluded books of the Bible that are not included in the Bible as we know it today and the past. I have always wondered "Who" is Constantine to decide which books belong and not belong in the Bible? Studies of Constantine show that he actually thought he was GOD himself? And, What gives the Catholic Church the right to decide if a book belongs in the Bible or not? I was taught that the books of the Bible were written by men "inspired" by GOD. Yet, there is a Book of Mary? Was she "inspired" by GOD? Of course, the Catholics wouldn't think so. What about that is lost, missing, banned or excluded? Were any of those authors "inspired" by GOD to write them? I am somewhat "shocked" by the "number" of books that are lost, missing, banned and excluded from the Bible! Today's Bible with the Old and New Testaments total 66 books! Believe it or not, lost, missing, banned and excluded books total more than that! As a believer and a Christian, I believe the Bible, we have today, is the Word of God. However, I also believe that it is "incomplete", but all we have to go on, here on earth. And, as the Bible says, "all will be revealed to us when we are in heaven". I find that extremely interesting and look forward to it.
