There are very few photographs of the Holocaust. Those that survived the war tend to show the faces of victims in transit - on their way to camps. Some show arrivals being sorted into 'fit' and 'unfit for work' on arrival. As far as I know, there are no photographs of gas chambers in use. In World War 2 photographic film was scarce in Germany and many other countries. Nevertheless, some German soldiers on the Eastern Front took photographs of atrocities that they and their units committed, though it was strictly forbidden. Some of these men were later transferred to the Western Front or to Italy, taken prisoner by the Allies and these photographs were found on their person as the men had kept them as souvenirs. Some of these photos show victims kneeling at the edge of pits about to shot. Some show bodies dangling from bridges, windows and so on. One SS officer even took eight photos of a hanging, and there are also photos of mutilated corpses, and so on. In addition, there are photographs taken by official Soviet photogtaphers. As with anything taken by government photographers, one needs to be a little cautious. There are also photographs and some film taken by Allied troops and war correspondents of camps that they had just liberated. These photographs, with piles of corpses and skeletal inmates are important evidence. In Britain, the Imperial War Museum in London has a vast phtographic archive and there are surely museums in Washington DC with comparable archive materials. Joncey

The above answer is very good, but did not answer the question itself. Hitler never killed anybody, except possibly one of his 'girl friends' but this was recorded as self inflicted. It was his 'teams' that did the killing. The leaders such as Himmler of the SS, FAINTED when he saw a mass killing, and was ill for some weeks afterwards. The main leaders never killed anybody themselves, they ordered others to do the dirty work.

his body was burned within minutes of his death. His corpse was burned beyond recognition, but there are pictures of the skeletal remains before they were packed up as well as many pictures of the cleaned skull (it being the only piece remaining).

No, Hitler requested his body to be burned so the soviets would not take it and so his legacy would not be downgraded by the soviets.
