I stopped using McAfee a long time ago because it really slowed down my computer and didn't protect it very well. I found a free personal firewall from Sygate, and I haven't had a computer virus since using Sygate.
"Mcafee Total computer protection for, viruses, spyware, trojan horses etc covers everything for your computers protection. It generally costs 60-80 dollars depending on the purchased protection for one or 3 PC's, you may find it online at a discounted price right now."
which is better McAfee or Kaspersky
NOD32, no doubt. Effective and lighter.
If you have McAfee, I recommend that you uninstall it. I used to have McAfee and if it detects a virus, it will quarantine it, but not delete it. You're better off installing Symantec or Norton 360.
There are many antivirus programs such as: Norton, kaspersky,McAfee,Avast. I like Avast, he saved me from viruses more than once. You can get a discount on subscription by the ref bit.ly/3o53Oz0 (remove the space to work)_
It doesn't appear that Symantec Endpoints Protection has any perks that are any better than any other antivirus. Also, Symantec programs seem to conflict with a lot of common computer programs, like Quicktime.
mcafee is the best it's a great price and its better then most of them like it doesn't take up that much memory on your laptop so get mcafee.
norton updates every 5-15 mins has really good detection rates mcafee updates every day good detection rates ca updates every day poor detection rates norton is the better one out of the three but prevx is better == Just buy them with cheap price and test them by yourself. Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 http://downallsoftware.com/detail-key-7.html Norton 360 3.0 Version http://downallsoftware.com/detail-key-6.html McAfee VirusScan Enterprise http://downallsoftware.com/detail-McAfee%20VirusScan%20Enterprise%208.0.html
McAfee scans mainly for viruses but it does detect a lot of spyware and trojans. It would be better to run an anti spyware program along with it.
There are many programs available for editing 'photos, some of them free
i haven't heard of webroot but i absolutely do not recommend using mcafee when i got mcafee it detected the Artemis virus which is extremely common among comuters running mcafee. mcafee couldn't delete the virus and eventually the virus prevented me frm logging on and i had to reformat. the best free antiviruses are Avast! and Avira antivir if you are willing to pay for software i recomend Norton antivirus your should also have Dr.web cureit on hand just in case.
No it is not. The two programs will probably interfere with each other. For example norton's firewall might think some mcafee componets are malicious and block them. You know the old saying two is better than one. Well when it comes to to antimalware software this maxim does not apply. Having mcafee and norton actually make you more vulnerable. So chose the one that best meets your needs and get rid of the other one.
