Very rarely does the Cumberland River ever flood in Nashville; the Flood of 2010 was quite the freak accident! Although the flooding stopped almost 2 years ago, damage is still being corrected. In fact, one of Nashville's most popular tourist attractions, Opry Mills and the Opry Land Hotel, just reopened this past week!
