Yes, there are veterinarians and veterinary technicians that work at zoos. It is very hard to find a job as one, however.

Most zoos have only 1 veterinarian at a time and then have consultants to help them. Some however hire more such as the Denver Zoo which currently has 3 vets on their staff with assistants and vet techs to help them.
