My friend's dad hunts in Skipperville. He is close friends with the game warden for the area. He said there is three panthers in Echo, Alabama. Two female and one male. He also says their hunting ground is about 25 miles a day!! I am kind of freaked out. They are endangered animals, so we are not permitted to kill them!! What are they going to do?? Surely they will not let them roam 25 miles a day until a human life is taken before doing something. The game warden says they are will continue to keep a close eye on them too!
No, Alabama does not have cougars. Florida does have Florida panthers, located in the Everglade swamp. These are extremely rare, though, and few people have seen them in the wild.
There are no panthers in Spain. They are primarily animals from Africa and Asia.
Alabama Wild Man was created on 1972-07-03.

You shouldn't keep a wild animal as a pet
The wild cats that can be found in Britain are not natives. These are commonly Panthers, Pumas or 'Black Cats'.
Panthers are not indigenous to any part of the United Kingdom but some have escaped from captivity in the past and can live successfully in the wild. They were also kept as pets in England in the eighties. when this became illegal, people released them into the wild.
No wild animal makes a good pet and all should be left in the wild. Big cats, including black panthers, pose a considerable danger to humans who try to keep them in captivity.
