Wormholes, aka "Einstein-Rosen bridges," were once thought to connect quasars and black holes. It is now known that quasars ARE black holes, and there is no evidence they are connected to anything. Black holes are pinched off spaces of our universe, exotic and strange, but not mystically mysterious.

It remains theoretically possible we could manufacture connections to other points in space-time or other dimensions (universes) through "wormholes," or something like them, however what is possible is sometimes also unlikely. Wormholes are not particularly likely.

How can wormholes play a part in the universe?

Wormholes open up holes in space that once you enter one it could take you to another place in the galaxy or time. Hence the name wormholes.

Can you escape from your galaxy The Milky Way and visit another galaxy in the universe?

yes through wormholes

Are wormholes invisible?

Yes, wormholes are theoretical passages through spacetime that could connect two distant points in the universe. They are not visible to the naked eye because they are hypothetical structures predicted by the equations of general relativity.

How do wormholes form?

It is not even known whether there ARE any wormholes. Wormholes are very hypothetical.

Is there a possibility that wormholes and black holes are gateways to other dimensions in this universe?

Yes, it's possible but we really just don't know.

How many wormholes are there on the universe?

In the law of physics, wormhole can possibly exists, but no one ever found a wormhole or seen. there is no evidence that wormhole can exist.

Are there wormholes in the milky way?

Wormholes are not confirmed to exist.

What is that basis for Stephen Hawkings theory on wormholes?

A worm hole is a hypothetical topological feature of Space time. Worm holes arise as the solution to Einstein's general theory of relativity. In the earliest moment of the universe gravity may itself give rise to negative energy states in which natural ,self Stabilizing wormholes may have formed. These wormholes may have been created in Big Bang. The negative energy states could be the basis for Stephen Hawkings theory for wormholes.

How do you create a wormhole?

First, you get a worm ... Wormholes are a hypothetical concept. We don't even know for certain that they exist in the real universe, let alone how to make one.

How does wormholes affect time travel?

Time travel is not possible. The effects of a wormhole would depend on the author of the story you are reading.

Where you will go if you go into a worm hole in outer space?

wormholes may possibly exist, but there is no evidence saying that 'wormhole is definitely exist. but if you do get through the wormholes, that means you get a shortcut through spacetime, so you can go into other universes outside our universe and also you can go through time like time traveling.

Do wormholes require another dimension to be recognized?

Not sure what you mean by "recognized," but a worm-hole could (in theory) exist perfectly well in our Universe of three spatial dimensions. You couldn't really DO much with worm-holes in our Universe (they are too unstable) but they could exist.
