They are still releasing PS2 versions of Multiple platform games. They are not making releases of new games exclusively for the PS2 and many of the multiple platform releases have stopped making a PS2 version because of low sales for the previous release. Sony reported only 2.5million sales over the 2011 holiday quarter for sales of all PS2 software titles worldwide

The current owner (Activision) has not announced any new Crash Bandicoot games in recent years. Nothing stops them from changing their mind and making more in the future, or selling the rights to some other studio.
