Are they making the legend of Zelda majoras mask for 3ds?

It's not known whether a remake is in progress and whether it will be for the 3DS or Wii U; it is clear that Nintendo is aware of the demand for a remake of Majora's Mask, but it's not known whether they will comply to this. (See the attached related link.)

Following the release of A Link Between Worlds, there is a reference to Majora's Mask, the reference being the same mask in question located at the shop, hanging on the wall.

There is speculation that this is a hint towards a remake being in progress, but that's pure speculation at best. Only time will tell of a remake to the dark and strange world that is Termina. ;)
