No tigers are endangered species
that answer makes no sense at all endangered species mean there is a small amount of them and yes tigers are going extinct because there being killed and only about 3,200 left
Some cultures used to, and still do look to the tiger as a symbol of strength and courage. so if that is gone so will their beliefs possibly. Also people for years have loved tigers and the way they are, plus the poachers will start targeting other animals
People are hunting them down. If it goes on like that, the tigers are destined to become totally extinct next year. Fortunately, tigers are trying to be protected by others. first of all they are being illegaly hunted for there fur coats. and sacondly humans are moving in on the lands that were once theirs and hunting the animals that sestain there life.
There are many measures being taken to protect tigers, so hopefully they will not become extinct with these programs to provide good protection of their habitat in place.
To help you could join the WWF for free or make maps and collecy heaps of info for a project and share it with your friends and infrount of your school. Also you could sell cupcakes, cake or somthing similar to collect money and donate the money to the WWF or the TTF !!! =]
They are becoming extinct because their habitat is being destroyed and they are hunted for their body parts for Chinese medicines !!! =o =[
if we keep tearing down trees and destroying their habitat then maybe.
Tigers are not extinct, although they are endangered.
Yes, they are critically in danger of extinction, In China the Chinese Tiger is virtually extinct due to the hunting of the Chinese believed "medicinal purposes"
If all animals go extinct there will be no need for food!
Tigers will become extinct in less than 10 years if they don't get the help they need. Bengal tigers have increased from 2,000 to 5,000, but they are still endangered. The South China Tiger has 30 to 80 individual pairs left. They REALLY need help! White tigers are probably the most vulnerable of all tigers. Their coloring makes it hard to camouflage, and when people spot them, they are likely killed or captured or put in a zoo. Likely after this review, you will see how tigers are among the most endangered of all big cats. There are organizations like World Wildlife Fund where you can help this beautiful animal. Remember, a tiger will only harm you, if you harm them.
A species that has entirely died out is considered extinct. An example of extinct species are the dodo, saber-tooth tigers, woolly mammoths, Canary Island giant rats, Cape lion, and the Red Rail.
Extinction. When a species fails to adapt, it dies out.
An extinct animal means there are none left; they all have died. Endangered means there is a small amount left of that animal and they are about to become extinct. Threatened means they are about to become endangered.
I am happy to report that Siberian tigers are not extinct. Unfortunately, they are endangered, and could become extinct if people do not stop poachers who kill them (and all types of tigers), for their beautiful hides.
White tigers are all decended from a very small number of wild caught white tigers. There are very few if any white tigers currently in the wild. However as a white tiger can be born to two normal coloured tigers and is not a species in itself, it will go extinct when all tigers are extinct
all tigers are endangerd; three speices of tigers are already extinct
Extinct (Extinction)
Because the giant bird took all their food and there wasn't enough food for them so they were extinct.
There are no Arctic tigers. All six subspecies are fully protected by laws where they reside.
Sadly, no. They are all extinct and they have no close relatives.
All animals that we know today will eventually become extinct, but there is no way to know if it will happen within your lifetime.
They become extinct!
Siberian tigers all live in captivity but in a thin strip of Russia they still live but they may be extinct in the wild now.
The white tigers are bengals, not siberians, and none are currently in the wild. All are in captivity.
If all animals go extinct there will be no need for food!
