No goth is just if you worship the devil or explore the wika culture (witches) but yes it is goth like and favored by goths but some people just like the look
Tripp pants are baggy pants with chains zippers and other gadgets on them. they can have red, green, or any other possible color stitching. the fabric is usually the color black but they can be other colors too like green, red, etc. Most of the people think these pants are 'goth', but the insiders of the subculture aren't sharing this opinion.

A modern Goth is a fan of Goth music, which is like Post-Punk except gloomier and somewhat mystical at times. Goth bands include Bauhaus, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Sisters of Mercy, The Cure, Alien Sex Fiend, Cinema Strange, Sopor Aeternus & the Ensemble of Shadows, Corpus Delicti, and The Wake. Instruments commonly used in Goth music include traditional rock instruments, synthesizer, and drum machine, amongst others, depending on the band. However, many people these days don't know what Goth actually is because the media distorted its meaning. The media portrays very un-Goth things as goth, like Tripp pants, Hot Topic, Cradle of Filth, Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Combichrist. NONE of those bands are goth! The reason that they are confused is that they have dark themes, however they fall into categories such as (respectively) Black Metal, Nu-Metal, Shock Rock, and Industrial/EBM. Note: People that wear Tripp pants and listen to these bands are often called Mallgoths by people in the goth community, so called due to their love of Hot Topic. The media has also made people believe that Goths are violent and often satanist. However, Goth is actually overall a peaceful subculture. There are Goths that follow all kinds of different religions (or don't follow any religion). The point is that there is no inherent religious belief of Goth.
it's hard to describe, but I'll tryOk, I'm not sure who came first emo or goths, but emos are more...Emo - Emo began and started out as a music genre, but later became a trend. Emo's enjoy tighter clothes such as skinny jeans and checkered clothing. They like the freedom to express themselves with music and randomness. Emos love studded belts.Goth - Goth, i don't know how it all got started, but goth guys and girls are different, but the same in a way. The goth guys injoy wearing baggy Tripp pants and tight shirts and anything with a lot of buckles like combat boots and Tripp's. Goths are more on the dark side while emos just enjoy being random. . Goth girls enjoy the more tight clothes and mini dresses and skirts. They also imitate vampires beyond any belief.

From a brand called Tripp which is sold at hot topic stores near you, or online at trippnyc.com
Tripp Weathers goes by Tripp.
You can wear whatever you want if you like it. Some people might question why you would wear something so closely associated with a subculture that (I'm guessing) you're not a part of, but if it's something that you really think is cool then that's all the reason you need. Besides, Tripp makes awesome stuff. ^_^
