All vultures are carrion eaters (they eat the remains of dead animals but do not kill these animals themselves). There role is to tidy up the environment as things die. To help them do this turkey vultures have one of the best developed senses of smell in the animal kingdom so that they can smell out dead animals in the jungle where the dead animal can not be seen from above because of the tree cover.

∙ 10y agoVultures are useful in the environment because they are part of the food chain. Vultures prey on rodents and small animals of that nature that are DEAD. The do not hunt living animals, and that helps because if vultures did not eat the dead animals, there would be decaying dead animals all over.

(please ONLY do this if you have to, if they havent left after about two months) You may have to call in somebody, to catch them and release them somewhere else. It may be bad for if they have eggs. If so, after they have left, bring the eggs to a wildlife rescue center. There they would care for the eggs. You can try these methods. They can work, so try them.
