There are roughly between 250 and 300 species of turtles living today. Of those, the IUCN Red List currently has 212 listed with a status of endangerment that ranges from, "data deficient" with population waiting updating, to "critically endangered" with populations decreasing. There are some even listed "extinct" as recently as 2002. So, more than half of the species of turtles are listed as needing some form of protection, or study to determine there status. In general yes, you could call turtles endangered. For more details, please see sites listed below.
Many species are endangered, but as an order they are not in any immediate danger of extinction.

They are Classified as endangered, green turtles are threatened by over harvesting of their eggs, the hunting of adults, being caught in fishing gear and loss of nesting beach sites.
Because when their eggs hatch and they begin running for the ocean the lights make it easier for predators to see them and kill them.
no there not endanger
not all turtles are endanger mostly just the sea turtle
yes they are endangered because of too many people fishing and killing them also they die from propellers on boats yah this is right so maybe its because of us not with them
One cause for their endangered state is plastic bags floating in the ocean. Pacific Leatherback sea turtles mistake these plastic bags for jellyfish. Hope that helps.
Endangered is the past participle of endanger.
