It is uncertain if Twi'leks still exist, though they certainly did at some point. NASA has recently received transmissions from a galaxy far, far away. From what we've been able to piece together, they had industrial-level technology at the time of transmission (a long, long time ago). They come in every color of the rainbow, and are identified by two tentacles growing from their head. They are known for their grace, and because of which, they are often captured as slaves, and having one is a mark of great prestige.
