Universal Studios is split into two parks: Universal Studios and the Islands of Adventure. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is inside Islands of Adventure so you will have to walk through the park to reach The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

They are next door neighbors in the Universal Orlando Resort complex assessable from the same parking structure or by complimentary taxi boat if you are staying at one of three on-site hotels. After parking you will then walk through CityWalk (a shopping and nightclub area) and turn right for Universal Studios or left for Islands of Adventure.

Harry Potter is an "Island" located within Islands of Adventure which is one of the two separate parks located in the Universal Orlando property; the other park is Universal Studios. There is not a separate charge once you gain access to Islands.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is located inside of Universal Orlando's Islands of Adventure. Universal Orlando tickets allow entrance to either of the two theme parks (the other being Universal Studios). If you plan on using your ticket to enter Universal Studios (and do not have a park hopper), you will not be allowed into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
At this resort, there are many activities for all ages. The two theme parks, Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure, offer unique rides, scenery, and other attractions. Thrill rides and milder rides are included in the wide range of attractions at these parks, which also include shows. The resort also has a large entertainment complex called CityWalk. It is titled the "Entertainment Capital of Orlando" and includes many different clubs, shops, and restaurants for all ages.
One can find amusement parks all over Orlando and surrounding area. Just south of downtown one will find the SeaWorld Parks complex, with a total of 3 parks . Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure are also in this area. About 20 minutes from these parks across Orlando one will find the 4 Disney Parks. And Legoland now has it's own park in the area too.
