Yes, they do affect behavior. Truthfully I am a kid myself and I know one boy that gets himself into a lot of trouble and most of it is probably from violent Video Games and bad TV. So if your child is playing violent video games or watching bad TV, make them stop because if we stop putting violence in kids heads they might have better behavior at school and long term, it might help us live it a better nonviolent world. Thank you and please encourage your kids to take the nonviolent route.
Rarely, but yes.
No!
Uh...no! Violent video games encourage violent behavior. And halo games are very violent. Is that really what you want for a 10 - year old?
They simply don't cause violent behavior. No evidence proves a link between violent video games and violent behavior. Video games are mainly used for stress release and entertainment, so if anything, they prevent violent behavior.
Yes, video games are known to affect social skills. If one sits and plays video games all day they are secluding themselves from others and not communication, ergo not having social skills. However, video games may also affect one's social skills by altering their behavior. For example, it is known that if you play violent games, you are more likely to have violent behavior.
I don't know who your talking about so i cant answer that
Violent video games and T.V. shows can cause bad behavior. Influences from other people can cause bad behavior as well.
it would depend of what type of video games you are playing. For example, if you play violent video games as a young child, it will affect you in real life of being a violent person and you will be sent to juvenile hall or jail. That explain of how video games is compared to live.
Violent video games have a negative impact on the mind's of children, and teens. Generally, the viewer of the video game will have an urge to follow of copy what is happening in the video game. People are advised to follow the gereral ratings of the game (suggested by professionals). MW3, and Call of Duty are poor examples of violent video games. Both are rated M.
That depends on a lot of things.... If they are violent video games, the parents and even just how long they play it. If the video game becomes a part of their life, it CAN actually affect their behavior. Some researchers say that it is a type of stress relief too though, so there's not a for sure answer.
It can or it can't. for people with aggression problems sometimes it can.
they can make you violent, rowdy and can make you take on the characters in the game thinking that they are real.
