No. viruses are smaller and can only reproduce inside another living cell

bacteria are bigger and can reproduce unaided. Also, viruses are nonliving.
No. Bacteria are living single-celled organisms, while viruses are non-living, they consist of a string of DNA or RNA inside a protein coat.

Some ways a bacteria and virus are the same are,

-some cause disease

-they both reproduce

-they both are in the human body and on everything we touch

but, they have many differents. For instants,

-a bacteria is living

-bacteria need energy

they are many more.

No, bacteria and viruses are not the same.

Bacteria are living single-celled organisms that have their own metabolism and can reproduce independently by cellular division. Most bacteria do not infect other organisms, though many still do.

Viruses are non-living organic parasites. They do not have cells or a metabolism. They cannot reproduce on their own, but must invade a living cells an hijack its systems in order to replicate.

Hello there!

Here are the similarities between viruses and bacteria:

  • Having a lipid bilayer envelope (some viruses also don't have them too)

  • They have a double-stranded genome (some viruses)

  • They all need to infect to survive and replicate

  • Some of the bacteria and viruses have the ability to cause cancer

  • Some of them are commensals in and on our bodies

Differences between those 2:

  • A good number of bacteria can show movement

  • Bacteria can undergo sexual reproduction via pili

  • Viruses infect literally everything in all domains of life, including bacteria

  • Viruses have 7 different types of genome categories (most diverse genome nature)

  • Bacteria have a glycocalyx, ribosomes, plasmids, flagella, nucleoid, and cytoplasm

  • Viruses are minimalistic- They have an envelope (sometimes), capsid, and genome

Hopefully, my answer was helpful to you! 😄

No. Viruses are noncellular, nonliving parasites that reproduce with host cells while bacteria are unicellular auto or heterotrophs. Also, bacteria are prokaryotic.

Do bacteria cause computer viruses?

No. Computer viruses are only called "viruses" by figurative analogy with biological viruses. And biological viruses (such as chickenpox, hepatitis, and the flu) are not the same as disease-causing bacteria (such as strep throat, tuberculosis, and lyme disease).

Are bacteria spread the same way as viruses?

Yes. Virus do infect bacteria. They are called bacteriophages. (bacteria eaters)

What is the size of bacteria and viruses on Mars?

There are no bacteria or viruses on mars.

What difference between bacteria and viruses shows that bacteria are living organsims and viruses are not?

Bacteria are cellular while viruses are non cellular .

What are the viruses the infect bacteria called?

Bacteriophages are viruses that infect bacteria.

What are difference between bacteria and viruses.?

-viruses and alive but bacteria is -viruses spread but dont multiply or change in your body, bacteria are alive and are often evolving -viruses cannot be treated, but bacteria can be eliminated with chemincals and anitbiotics

What difference between bacteria and viruses shows that bacteria are living organisms and viruses?

Bacteria are able to reproduce on their own while viruses need a host to.

Are bacteria larger than viruses?

no bacteria is larger than viruses

there are some bacteria that approach the size of larger viruses but, viruses are smaller than bacteria

What are three difference between viruses and bacteria?

Why do Bacteria differ from viruses because bacteria have?

Because bacteria have only DNA as genetic material but viruses have RNA or DNA as genetic material. viruses are harmful but most of the bacteria are useful.
