actually, there is little obvious difference between voles and moles TO THE UN-TRAINED
EYE.....................so, here's an easy trick to tell them apart:
you simply look under their tail.....voles have a tiny "V" shaped skin fold....and moles
have a tiny "M" shaped fold of skin..............you have to be more careful with the moles
because otherwise you may get an eye-full of "MO-LASSES"
now go shoot yerself !!!!!!!!!!!!1
Voles, moles, and shrews are similar animals, but not in the same species.
To determine if you have moles or voles in your yard, look for raised tunnels and mounds of dirt, which are signs of moles. Voles, on the other hand, create surface runways and chew on plants. Identifying these behaviors can help you determine which pest is present in your yard.
yes there are. they are like a mix between moles and wild field mice.
