They look like dry coffee grounds
Yes, if they are dry. For example, don't smoke near a compost pile of dry coffee grounds.
Coffee grounds contain substantial nitrogen and potassium, both important for plant growth. They also includes many other trace minerals and carbohydrates. This also makes it a good fertilizer. But since coffee grounds lack phosphorus (used in plant food for flowering plants) it is better for use on non-flowering shrubs, foliage plants and grass than flowers. For "casual" use, let them dry first (otherwise they can develop mold and that's not helpful for plants) and then work them lightly into the soil. If you compost, just dump them into your regular compost bin; they have a carbon-to-nitrogen ratio of 20:1, about the same as grass clippings. After used to make coffee, grounds contain up to 2% nitrogen. They are acidic with a pH of between 3.0 and 5.0, making them perfect for mulching rhododendrons, azalea and other acid loving plants.
No, coffee grounds do not keep hydrangeas blue on their own.Specifically, the blue blooms on the hydrangea are the result of the plant being able to take aluminum from the soil into the roots. Aluminum has to be in soluble form for plant root intake. A soil that is too dry impedes adequate aluminum intake and therefore proper blue blossoming. Coffee grounds work to retain moisture in soil.
In the future take coffee grounds out of the machine right after every use and keep top of machine open to help machine dry thoroughly. Clean the machine at least once a week.
i am going to assume you are asking about an electric drip coffee machine... your heating element has probably failed.
no
Probably not on its own, but as a composting material it can be used. Remember that creating your own fertilizer requires much more biomass then will be produced. So, coffee grounds with your orange peel and the bad bread will work. A truck full of coffee grounds, not as well. Building and using a composting bin will help a lot. Building it far from any windows that may be open in the summer heat will help even more.
dry air
1 lb coffee grounds = 40.4 fluid ounces volume (= 5 cups)[1]
No, there legs are too weak to even walk in mud. There legs would snap they can only walk on plants and dry grounds.
-Plants will die. -Plants will not grow -would be no good crops.
