Probably not a wise choice if you have snowy winters, as the ground clearance is not very high. Not too bad if you have good snow tires or really good all-weather tires. Ground clearance is low, but with a standard 5 speed it crawls up hills well. With proper tires, and in Minnesota snow, the PT can be one of the best cars you've ever driven, especially with the ABS system to assist you!! You may even be able to avoid a few collisions, where others (or even yourself in a different car) may not have had it so easy!
At least while I lived there it had the most I had ever seen, Mississippi! They were so big and bad they would carry you off if you weren't careful. But then I don't weigh alot, and that was a while back, but they really were bad!
no it is not bad
First of all, there is a lot of rain. There have cold winters (more of a opinion), but warm summers.
Not bad at all really.
I guess it depends on what your style is, and how cold your winters are. Like, if you have pretty cold winters, you might want to go with the sheepskin ones, (they are good in spring as well) but if your winters aren't so bad, you could get knitted ones. Again, it all depends on what you prefer.

Newfoundland & Labrador is a fabulous place! The only bad thing is the long, cold winters!
