Women are often treated differently than men in the military because women have been viewed as the weaker sex for many years. This causes men to want to protect them rather than work with them equally.
There is no doubt that women do get treated differently than men do in prison. Women have more personal needs than men do. They also need more privacy than men.

Unfortunately, yes. Amish women tend to do the same things women did in the ancient times. In other words, Amish women usually run the household, while the men take care of the farm.
While it is true that women probably face less discrimination, on average, than they did in the 1960s or 1970s, it is not yet correct to say that they "are not treated much differently than men" in many aspects of life and business. It should be noted that the Equal Rights Amendment was never adopted and so has had no direct impact on women's rights, even though it energized the conversation on that topic.
There is no comparison to be made. Juveniles are juveniles and the law says they should be treated differently from adults, regardless of the charge against them.
Discrimination is the unfair or prejudicial treatment of individuals or groups based on certain characteristics such as race, gender, age, or class. It involves making distinctions that lead to inequality in opportunities, access, or treatment.

The 19th amendment provided for women's suffrage. Proposed in 1919 and ratified on August 18, 1920 , it guaranteed women the right to vote. (or at least not to be treated differently than men as far as voting qualifications) There is a link below to an article on women's suffrage.
Actually studies show from different sources that women kill their children more often than men do. The cases are handled in various ways but the outcome is still the same: if one is convicted of killing a child he or she will be sentenced to life in prison, or even execution. Cases are not generally handled by what the gender is of the defendant, but by the manner in which the crime occurred or whether the defendant is mentally ill, which is most of the case with female defendants.
No, it would not be fair.
