But I advocate the idea that women make better parents than men. Women not only have many natural skills, such as: good stamina, calmness... but also some appropriate condition to become good parents and that is why they have the greater role in raising children in most societies.:P

Mothers and fathers, and people in general regardless of their sex, often have different strengths and qualities so it is impossible to answer your question as it is constructed. There cannot be single answer. Well thought out opinions may be added below.

There is only one way in which mothers could be viewed as more important than fathers and that is they can conceive, carry to term, give birth and provide nourishment for a child. In other ways women and men parent both the same and differently on a case by case basis. There are no hard and fast rules.

Neither are better, overall. Mothers and fathers are both necessary. They are just better at different things. Moms tend to be more protective or nurturing, while dads tend to be better at instilling certain values, and better at perceiving certain types of threats. However, there are plenty of exceptions and this is not always the case.
