It depends which country your in. In some countries women aren't allowed to work at all, because of their religious beliefs, or because the government in power in sexist. In other countries women are allowed to work, and have the same rights as men. However, for some people, old stereotypes remain, and women ARE treated differently, regardless of the government in power at the time. It really is a case-by-case issue.
