Are you a courteous society

I am a courteous person, but I don't think society as a whole are very courteous at all, Courteous goes beyond Thank you, or yes mam, How many people help an older person put there groceries in there car, the bags are heavy etc. i think people think because they have a car they don't need help. EX: people who park in handicapped parking without the handicapped plates, or people who take advantage of obtaining the plates who can really walk. A bunch of teenagers are walking down the street all together taking up the whole sidewalk, or are in a store all lumped together and do not move over to let people get by. Where is the common sense. Ah geez wish i could help answer better
