You are most fertile during the time of Ovulation, which is the time around day 14 of a "normal" cycle. This could be a week before the next menstruation, depending on the usual length of your cycles. Note that a "fertile time" is more than just the day of ovulation due to the length of time sperm cells can live for (a few days), and the time an egg is fertile (about one day).

Different women have different menstrual cycles. Women are most fertile during ovulation. You can figure out when you ovulate by charting your menstrual cycle or by talking with your doctor.

Can you get pregaunt one week after your period?

Yes, you can get pregnant at any time you have sex - particularly if you have sex without using any form of birth control. During the average 28 day cycle a woman will ovulate around day 14 and be fertile for up to a week beforehand when there is fertile cervical mucus present. During a shorter cycle one week after menstruation may be when you're at your most fertile.

Can a person get pregnant 1 week before their period If it is not during your fertile days is there still a chance?

Yes, one may still get pregnant the week before menstruation.

Are you still fertile one day before your actual period?

Yes, you can get pregnant in any point of the menstrual cycle. When your on your period, a week before, etc. You are most likely to get pregnant when your ovulating, which I think is a week or two before you come on your period.

When your girl is not on her period can she get pregnant?

Yes, although it is biologically impossible to get pregnant during menstruation, a woman can get pregnant as a result of sex during menstruation. Let me explain... During menstruation a woman will not ovulate, however if a womans menstrual cycle is short she may be producing fertile quality cervical mucus during menstruation. This mucus protects sperm in the vagina and helps it to swim up through the cervical opening to reach the fallopian tubes, where it can lay in weight for the egg during ovulation - sperm can survive up to a week in these conditions, by which time menstruation could stop and she could ovulate. If sexually active you should always use birth control, unless you use fertility awareness methods you have no way of knowing when a woman is fertile or not.

Can you get pregnantafter you get your menstruation after one week you have sexand you miss the next onefor three days are?

Yes. You cab definitely get pregnant

Does it mean you are safe during your period time and 5 days after the period?

If by 'safe' you mean no risk of pregnancy - no, this is not true. During the average 28 day cycle a woman is most likely to be fertile between days 7-16 - with ovulation occurring around day 14 (a viable egg may be present for up to 48 hours) and up to a week beforehand when fertile quality cervial mucus is present. During menstruation is one of the times a woman is less likely to get pregnant as there is no egg present, although if the menstrual cycle is shorter she could still have fertile quality cervical mucus during menstruation so pregnancy is still a risk. Five days after menstruation would be right in the middle of the fertile phase. Although this is the average cycle, not necissarily true to your cycle. Unless a woman uses Fertility Awareness Method she has no way of knowing when she is fertile or not, cycles can change a lot so you can't guess fertile days based on your past cycles (this is known as Rhythm Method and not at all effective). If you don't use Fertility Awareness Method then you have to use another form of birth control if you want to avoid unintended pregnancy.

Can a women get pregnant one day after her period is over?

Yes, a woman can get pregnant as a result of sex one day after menstruation. During a typical 28 day cycle a woman is fertile between days 7-16 - she ovulates on day 14 with an egg being viable for up to 48 hours, and she will produce fertile quality cervical mucus from a week before ovulation which can keep sperm alive for up to 7 days. Thus if menstruation lasted 6-7 days she would be fertile 1 day later. Everyones menstrual cycle is different, unless a woman uses fertility awareness method she cannot know when she is fertile or not, thus if a woman wishes to avoid getting pregnant she should always use another form of birth control.

Are you fertile after menstruation period?

Most woman are not fertile during this period.I think it is almost unheard of regarding being pregnant with one baby and managing to become pregnant with a second one a few months later. This is as rare as it can be, without totally ruling it out. (I think I have heard of one incident where a mother have given birth to "twins" of estimated two months age difference, but I can not find proper references to it)It is however more common to become pregnant with one baby and then become pregnant with a second one within a week. Two eggs can be released at slightly different times and become fertilized correspondingly. Both can attach themselves and hence you will be pregnant with twins, although not identical twins. Most women that breastfeed their baby are also infertile during this period. This is a less safe period although the first 6-8 months are considered pretty safe if the baby actually feed from you and does not get additional lots of food. The moment you start to wean the baby off, you will start becoming fertile and your menstruation will start again. It is not a fail-proof method of "birth-control"
