only if you need to like if theres dirt in the fur, pee on them, if they just plain smell, or if they enjoy them (some rats do!!)
Probably they can
It is supposed to symbolize 2 or 3 bs as in blackberry
Well my pet rat loves sliced red apples but i only give it to him once a week, and you can also give them dried banana chips. WARNING never give them lettuce as it will give them diorhia.
You can get a pet rat from most pet stores.
I don't have a pet rat!
Emily Carr had one pet rat.
You can give it a piece of cheese to snack on. Honestly I don't think cheese is the best snack for a rat. I'd rather give it yogurt or sunflower seeds. That is what I always give my rat to snack on. So i guess you can try all three yogurt , cheese , and sunflower seeds and see what it likes.
a pet rat can have many health problems my rat actually died from upper respiratory infection
I have never, ever heard such a thing. Rats are very social animals( including being social with other rats). So, no, unless it has some kind of mental illness or something crazy like that, one rat will not kill another and especially not eat it. Actually, if you have pet rats, you are supposed to have two in the cage.
African Pouched Rat.
Rats, or other small animals, should not be bathed. They can catch colds very easily and a cold will most likely kill them. (new person speaking now) that is sooooooooo not true! i have a pet rat, and i give him bath allthe time, he is fine, (and smells lemony fresh) this is how you bath your rat. 1. fill up your bath tub with warm, almost hot water (cold water could put them into shock) 2 get ready a towel, pet soap (dont use normal shampoo, you can get pet soap at petsmart and stuff) and a sponge. 3. place rat into water , if your rat has never done this before, fill the tub reeeely shallow, you dont want to drown your rat by accidnent. 4. let your rat get used to the feel of water, then cup your hands and pour water over him/her, but be carefull not to get their heads wet. 5. dab some pet shampoo onto rats back. (not on rats head!) and lather in. 6. rinse 7. dry your clean rat off and put him back in his enclosure tada! now you have a nice clean rat (results may vary)
I think it is not the best idea to have it as a pet, but if you were a really crazy person who would have a snake as a pet you would keep that rat thingy. but anyway a mole rat, my answer would be NO!
