yesbecause it is smaller than every other planet
The Dwarf Planet Pluto.
Maybe it would have been bigger than Pluto, but that is not a planet anymore so I pretty sure No.More InformationOur moon is much smaller than any planet in our solar system. Earth's moon has about 1/50th the volume of Earth. The smallest planet in our solar system, Mercury, has nearly three times the volume and roughly 4 1/2 times the mass of our moon.
i'm pretty sure it becomes a lunar eclipes
Pluto has one moon: Charon. The others are Nix and Hydra.
sun moon venus mars Jupiter mercury uranus Pluto and not sure of the new planet
Because it orbits a planet (the Earth), the Moon is disqualified as being categorized as a planet; and is thus a moon (lower case). So it is known as "THE Moon" and it is "a moon" since it is a natural satellite.
I am not sure what the question is, but yes they are both Pluto.
It's probable just a big rock, like a large moon, however it's too far away to say for sure. A satellite was launched from the Earth and it will fly past Pluto many years from now. Then we should learn a lot more about Pluto.
I'm not too sure where you are looking from, but from Earth, the Moon looks a lot smaller than the Earth.
i am pretty sure Mercury, venus, and Pluto
Mars for sure. It's a stepping stone towards the stars. Much as the Moon is. It is more than likely that the Moon will be used - in the future - as the launch pad for extended Mars exploration and possible colonisation. However, dwarf planet Pluto, Europa (moon of Jupiter), Titan and Enceladus (both moons of Saturn) will be high on the list. New Horizon is already on it's way to Pluto. Expected to arrive in 2015.
The element Plutonium is the only element that is related to the word 'pluto'. But not sure if it means 'pluto'.
