Yes! Zoos are more for people than animals. The animals are kept on display so the kids can learn more about them.
Most zoos don't favour the animals that attract more people they care for each and every animal. Some other zoos only do it for the money but everything depends on the owner.
animals can not be hunted
the animals are confined to a small space and some whales are taken out of their pods unwillingly.
Yes, there are more animals than there are people. Some people even think that we, ourselves, are people, coming from apes. Think about it. We have millions of zoos around the world, and there are still trillions of wild animals running free still.
There should be more of Wildlife than Zoos. In that way animals can live there own habitats and protected too by hunters
That's kind of a biased way of phrasing the question. Some animals in some zoos do begin to exhibit behavioral disorders. Good zoos work hard to provide the animals with a comfortable, engaging environment to minimize the chances of this happening, but not all zoos are good zoos and some animals are more sensitive than others.
People do not go to zoos just to see endangered animals; people like to see all sorts of animals.
There are many reasons for this, these are only a few. * Many zoos give injured animals a refuge while they recover so they may be returned to the wild. * Some zoos have breeding programs that help keep some animals from extinction. * Some zoos offer a home to nuisance animals so they will not be put down. * Zoos offer a place for people to learn more about the effects they have on the world around them. * Many zoos have extensive research programs that allow scientist to be able to treat ailments and problems of animals in the wild as well. * Zoos keep animals away from their predators. * Zoos give human enjoyment and entertainment. * Zoos give people an opportunity to let people see real life animals * Zoos give animals the food which saves the animal from fighting another in order to receive its prey. (If its carnivorous!) * Zoos give animals shelter.
they shoudl stay in zoo's because if poachers keep on going to kill all these animals in Africa than there will be no more left for the next generation of children and if there is none left then they cannot learn about them zoo's allow these animals to live on for the next generation
people buy land build on that land so it is suitable for wild animals and then they get the animals from other zoos and places like that. :)
Some zoos are perhaps owned and operated by Jewish people, but Jews wouldn't have more or fewer zoos than other groups of people. Some zoos may be owned and operated by Christians, Muslims, Hindus etc., as well.
Zoos help people see animals that they otherwise wouldn't be able to be see. Some people are against them, but in general Tigers are amazing and beautiful and are definitely the kinds of animals that zoos are created to house. So yes, in my opinion, tigers should be in zoos.
