105 mummies have been discovered and an additional 10,000 are expected to be unearthed.
The twentieth century was a time of tremendous change. The world went from traveling by horse and buggy and train to automobiles and space travel. There was more technological progress in the 20th century than in all recorded history. I was born in 1951, midway through the 20th century. In my own lifetime, the invention of the microwave, the electronic calculator, the home computer, space travel, mobile telephones, super highways, the supermarket, suburban sprawl, civil rights amendment in America, the emergence of the European Union, the downfall of communism in the former Soviet Union, terrorism, new countries were established, old countries were split, old countries were reunited, wars were fought, peace in some places was established, volcanos errupted, Mount St. Helen in Washington erupted, acid rain, environmentalism was born, and throughout it all I live a life. Ask the older people around you what they remember, especially your grandparents. There is no better history book than the people around you who actually lived through it all. The 20th century was amazing, exciting, innovative, and incredibly lively. Personally, I can't wait to see what will happen in the next 50 years.
not sure ask again
sorry we have not found out yet please ask again at ask.com thank you for your time
Be advised: according to site sources; there are (or were) about 13 million fake Vietnam War vets. Today when someone asks a Viet War vet if he was in Vietnam...they also ask to see a photograph of him IN VIETNAM. Extremely ironic: Vietnam, a war in which no man wanted any part of, no man wanted to be associated with...let alone fight in it...becomes a war in which millions of men now (falsely) want to be considered veterans of. There should be no more than 2 1/2 million Viet War vets. Especially after nearly 40 years, that number should be even lower. US Civil War veterans lived into the 1950's (20th century), so it's conceivable that Vietnam War veterans will do about the same (for the 21st century)...as those two wars took place at the same time...almost exactly one century apart from each other. Ask your family members who was in the war...then ask for photos. If no photos exist; then ask to see his DD-214 (Official discharge certificate, it's simply a single piece of paper, it's called a certificate...but doesn't look like one, it looks like a piece of paper with personal information on it). If no discharge paper exists...use common sense, and pursue the matter...maybe he's a vet with lost paperwork, it's been known to happen.
Does it matter, you ask stupid questions.
if i knew why would i ask ? ha ! have some brain ok! bye
I think a neat question to ask about the civil rights movements would be to ask how the gay rights movement in the 21st century can be compared to the movement for racial equality in the 20th century.
Girl! Get with it. You don't sit around hoping HE will ask. That's SOOOOO 20th century. Live your life. If the two of you are going to get hitched, decide on it jointly and set a possible date for marriage....or not.
This would be impossible to answer in a forum like this. You need to ask a specific question, e.g. Are you looking for information on a certain period of French history? The middle ages? The French Revolution? The World Wars of the 20th century?

Why wait for him to ask you? Just ask him out. You cant make anyone ask you out. If you know he likes you, ask him, this is a new century. Make sure you are allowed to go on dates, with your parents.
There have been Catholics in every century, in nearly every country in the world. Christianity, as such, does not really need animals, if you are asking about civilizations, you need to ask a more specific question.
