Adaptability is the ability to change (or, perhaps, to be changed) to fit circumstances, and, possibly more importantly, changing circumstances.Adaptable means that a person is able to adapt to his changing environment. It is related to being flexible or adjustable.
The adjectives for the noun or verb change include the present and past participles: changing and changed (as well as the negatives, unchanging and unchanged). A related adjective is the derivative changeable.

No changing the oil didn't cause this. Check to see that your cooling fan is operating.
