The watch is water resistant and not waterproof. Do not jump in swimming pool wearing this watch
my watch was waterproof. My eyelkiner isn't waterproof and we're swimming today! I have waterproof mascara! The waterproof camera can take underwater pictures! The waterproof safe can be stored underwater!
The best thing you can do is not to slam the watch around too much. There is a plastic case inside which keeps water out of the watch, and if it cracks, it will no longer be waterproof.
Depends on the watch. Some brands of watches, no. There is a small rubber seal around the inside of the watch and the backing and when that is opened the seal no longer works as well. The more expensive the watch the more likely that your watch will be waterproof. I wouldn't take a chance and would take it off while around water.
It depends. the problem with waterproof it takes a lifetime to take off. I'm assuming that waterproof is better though.
Think! If it is waterproof, do you think it can take underwater photos? YES! DEFINITELY!
My experience is that the 21 jewel automatic watch, which I have (1972 model I think) is water resistant, but not water proof. Play safe and take it off. Cheers Jasper
YES. THEY ARE WATERPROOF. from personal experience, water does get inside the motor and battery slot but they do not stop working. All you have to do is take out the battery and wipe it down and it will be fine.
Without knowing the average depth of your pool, it is impossible to know. However, assuming the average depth of your pool is 4 feet, it hold 15360 gallons of water.
Assuming you pour to a depth of 4", you will need 1/3 cubic yards. If you go to 6" depth, you will need about 1/2 cubic yard.
Yes. You may take photos and videos underwater with a waterproof camera. But make sure you do not use the camera beyond the specified underwater ratings. As of 2011, Sealife Mini 2 Waterproof camera holds the best waterproof depth rating. You can safely use it up to 130 feet underwater without any special casing. You may see the SeaLife at the link below.
approximately 17,600 gallons (assuming it is fill 4" less than the 5' depth)
A Garmin watch can be taken a long way under water as it is one of the best underwater watches available. 100 ft or 30 meters is a safe depth for a Garmin. Lovely watches.
