Everybody grows at their own rate, don't rush it, pick your age when you feel its natural.
Well, it totally depends on personal taste, to be honest. I mean, whichever one you feel most comfortable in, which ever one you like best. I am 12, and I only own padded bra's because I just find them alot more comfortable

I am 11 and I only wear a training bra, I feel that my breast buds are developing but my mum disagrees to me wearing a padded bra.
The training Bras that I wear are too small and they are not that comfortable. I dont know how to tell my mum that I might need one or I want one. My 3 other friends in school wear padded bras and 2 of them are only 10 (the other one being 11). There are 10 girls in my year. 3 wear padded bras, 6 wear training bras and 1 wears a crop top. You can see my nipples through my first bra and I am quite tall and broad. I dont actually know what to say to my mum...... We are going on a school trip for a week to Wales in April, we will be doing alot of sports and I dont really want to wear a training bra to it.
If anyone maybe knows how to persuade my mum or reassure me, please 'improve answer' and put down your answer.

i am 10 and i wear crop tops and sports bras and i dont know what to say about asking for a padded bra because most of the girls in my class have them i am about 1 out of 4 who dont wear them what should i say??Alex xx

Once a girl begins to grow breast they should start wearing a training bra. No reason to wear a padded bra because there isn't anyone to try and impress at that age. Not that anyone should ever try to impress anyone with breast size.

you can wear padded bras, but otherwise just wait there is really nothing you can do at this age OR be happy with what you are

Is paded bras harmfull?
I have heard that padded bra's caused bad posture but this isn't true i have known people that wear padded bras every day! The bras actually provide more support and are not harmful to your breasts.
When should you wear a padded bra?
There's no age when you 'should' wear a padded bra, if and when you wear a padded bra is up to you. Unless you have large breasts that need the support there's really little need for someone to wear a bra at all, especially if you have smaller breasts.Some girls prefer padded bras as they feel more covered or it can help hide budding and uneven breast size during development. If you feel like you'd be more comfortable in a padded bra then get one, there is no restriction on when you can or can't wear one.
