Not knowing if you mean the age of the horse or the riders age. Both will be answered here. A rider can ride until physically unable to do so, there is no age limit. As long as a horse is healthy and physically able to bare weight, it can be ridden.

Well, you don't really have to stop at a certain age. But maybe when your old and can barely walk. But I say if the horse is fine, you can ride. So when ever you feel like stopping is the age.

Age doesn't realy matter. You can ride as long as your horse is fit and healthy. You will find he/she may not be able to go at fast paces or on long rides. Even horses with arthritus still enjoy gentle hacks ,you will tell when your horse is no longer capable of being ridden.

Totally agree, most people I know want to retire there horse at like 20 or 25 even when there horse is fine! My pony is turning 20 and can still do everything a young pony can and is all ways bolting. :D

When a horse is too old to ride really depends on the horse. If it [the horse] is in good condition, it can ride up to age thirty-three. However, if the horse has Arthritis or sore joints, it shouldn't ride until it gets better. Sometimes a horse just doesn't ride anymore when it gets sore joints or arthritis (or both!).

well it all depends on the health of you horse. If your horse is does not have any health problems it doesn't matter what a age. But the preferred age is around 29 or 30
