In order the layers go troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, and thermosphere. I had a question on a crossword puzzle and it just said "middle layer" and mesosphere fit the best so you would probably be best off with that. :) Hope that helps! :) JIVVER :)
The chromosphere is the middle layer of the sun's atmosphere.
The middle layer of the atmosphere is the Mesosphere.
Stratosphere
OZONE Layer
OZONE Layer
chromosphere
The middle layer of the sun's atmosphere is called the chromosphere. This region is located above the photosphere and below the corona, and it is characterized by its reddish color during solar eclipses.
OZONE Layer
OZONE Layer
Considering the solar atmosphere to have three layers (photosphere, chromosphere, and corona), the "middle" would be the chromosphere.
The middle layer of Earth's atmosphere is called the stratosphere. It is located above the troposphere and below the mesosphere. The stratosphere is where the ozone layer is found, which helps to absorb and block harmful ultraviolet radiation from the sun.
The middle layer of the atmosphere is called the stratosphere. It is located above the troposphere (the lowest layer) and below the mesosphere (the next layer up). In the stratosphere, the concentration of ozone helps to absorb and block a significant amount of the sun's harmful ultraviolet radiation.
