The heart consists of four chambers: the right atria, right ventricle, left atria, and left ventricle. The superior vena cava, inferior vena cava, and coronary sinus bring blood into the right atrium. Blood then flows through the tricuspid valve and into the right ventricle. From the right ventricle, blood is pumped through the pulmonary semilunar valve into the pulmonary trunk. The pulmonary trunk divides into the right and left pulmonary arteries which carries deoxygenated blood to its respective lung. Pulmonary veins deliver oxygenated blood from lungs to the left atrium. Blood moves from the left atrium through the bicuspid (mitral) valve and into the left ventricle. Blood is pumped by the left ventricle through the aortic semilunar valve into the aorta. The aorta then distributes the blood throughout the body in a process called systemic circulation.

Right atrium-> tricuspid valve-> right ventricle-> pulmonary semilunar valve-> pulmonary trunk-> pulmonary artery-> lungs-> pulmonary veins-> left atrium-> bicuspid (mitral) valve-> left ventricle-> aortic semilunar valve-> aorta-> entire body

Blood flows from the right atrium through this atrioventicular valve to the right?

The blood flows from the right atrium through the tricuspid valve to the right ventricle.

What does the right atrium in a frog do?

It's a chamber in the heart in which blood flows. It flows through the right atrium and into the right ventricle where it is then pumped into the lungs.

Where blood flows when it leaves the right atrium?

The Aorta

What type of blood flows into the right atrium from the body?

Deoxygenated.

When blood flows in the right atrium from the body it contains?

Oxygen.

Does blood flow from the ventricle to the atria?

No, it flows from the Right Atrium to the Right Ventricle then to the Left Atrium to the Left Ventricle. Hope this helps!

Does blood that flows into the right atrium contain a lot of oxygen and a little carbon dioxide?

Blood that flows into the right atrium is returning from the body and is deoxygenated. This means that it contains less oxygen and mostlycarbon dioxide.

Do valves control the flow of blood from the artia to the ventricles?

No, it flows from the Right Atrium to the Right Ventricle then to the Left Atrium to the Left Ventricle. Hope this helps!

From the atrium through the tricuspid valve to the?

The blood flows from the atrium through the tricuspid valve to the right ventricle. The tricuspid valve prevents backflow of blood from the right ventricle back into the right atrium when the ventricle contracts.

What are the sections of the heart?

There are many section in the heart, starting with: The Superior Vena Cava, where de-oxygenated blood flows in from the body. From there the blood flows into the Right Atrium, through the Tricuspid Valve and into the Right Ventricle. After the blood is in the Right Ventricle, the blood flows out of the heart through the Inferior Vena Cava and in to the lungs, where it can be oxygenated. Once oxygenated, the blood flows back into the heart through the Pulmonary Artery. From the Pulmonary Artery the blood flows into the Left Atrium, through the Mitral Valve and into the Left Ventricle. From there the blood flows through the Pulmonary Valve to the Aorta and out into the body. The process then starts over from there.

Blood flow from the abdomen to what ventricle?

Blood flows from the abdomen to the right atrium of the heart. From there, it moves to the right ventricle, then to the lungs for oxygenation, and finally to the left atrium and left ventricle to be pumped out to the body.

What is the correct path of the blood in the heart?

As deoxygenated blood returns from the body, it flows from the vena cava into the right atrium. From the right atrium the blood flows into the right ventricle which pumps the blood through the pulmonary artery to the lungs. Oxygenated blood returns from the lungs via the pulmonary vein and enters the left atrium. The left atrium empties into the left ventricle which pumps the blood through the aorta and to the body.
