∙ 11y agoBath taps, and by that the assumption is that you mean the hot and cold faucets and the spigots, are mostly made out of brass. Brass does not rust or otherwise corrode, though it does discolor. Because it is a softer metal it is often chrome plated so it can be cleaned easily.
