Outside of the early pit fights, there are not many historical events where we see the lion and bear collide. The last place these two species naturally coexisted was in North Africa (as recent as the 1870's for the Atlas Bear and 1922 for Barbary Lion).
However, in the Russian Far East, adult male brown bears dominate Amur tigers including adult males over food carrion and sometimes kill them. Besides big cats, brown bears often usurp the carcass kills from other apex predators for example wolves and coyotes but as noted the big cats like tiger, cougars, leopards, and smaller ones like the lynx are also robbed of their food spoils by male brown bears. The rival apex predator will not risk a serious confrontation with a hungry adult brown bear, so fatal collisions are rare but they do happen.

Grizzly bear attacks the crocodile and the crocodile manages to drag it, but the bear runs to the back and tries to bite the crocodile. The tiger jumps on the bear and gives a bite on the throat, the bear lays dead. Siberian tiger is winner.

Why would a lion win a fight against a black bear?
Most of the time, it wouldn't. The black bear is bigger (700 lbs vs 550 lbs), stronger (bears are, pound for pound, the strongest of the order Carnivora, an order containing both bears and felines) and smarter (if food is a reward, they can even learn faster than chimpanzees) than the lion. The black bear has stronger forequarters (it can flip a flat-shaped rock more than twice its own weight) and jaws (1500 lbs vs 1000 lbs, the black bear uses its bite to rip through wood).
