They believe that man once had a relationship with God but that relationship has been broken by man's disobedience (sin). Throughout the history of mankind God has revealed Himself to man and shown man the way man can restore his relationship with God.
God's ultimate revelation to man was through His son Jesus Christ who died as payment for man's sin. Belief in his death puts a person right with God. The Bible tells this story of man and God.

1Jn 5:12 Whoever has the Son has this life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
